Reporting a listing

Anything on the Marketplace can be reported. Listings go up straight away — there is no queue to wait in — so reports are how the shelf stays clean.

Open the listing and choose Report. Pick the closest reason:

Reason Use it when
Stolen It is somebody else’s work, published without them
Broken It does not remix, or it arrives unusable
Scam The premium checkout does not deliver what it promises
Inappropriate Content that does not belong on the shelf
Other Anything else — say what in the note

Add a note if there is something we would not see ourselves, like where the original was published first. One report per person per listing; reporting the same thing twice does not add weight.

Reports are grouped by listing, not by report — ten people flagging one template is one decision to make, not ten. Someone reviews it and either leaves it up or takes it down.

You are emailed the reason, in the words the reviewer wrote. It is not a form letter, and it is not silent — a listing that quietly stops appearing with no message is the worst version of this.

A taken-down listing:

  • disappears from the Marketplace and from its own page
  • stays in your account — the project is untouched, nothing is deleted
  • can be put back if the decision is reversed

Reply to the email if you think it is wrong. If it goes back up, the reports on it are marked dismissed rather than deleted, so a pattern of unfounded complaints about your work stays visible too.
